Lawmakers resume debate on several draft legislation on Tuesday

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, October 3rd,  2011 (CUOPM) –The St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly reconvenes on Tuesday to deal with unfinished business which began last Thursday and continued on Friday of last week.
     
    Lawmakers over those two days disposed of the The Stamps (Amendment) Bill, The Duty Free Shops (Licensing and Taxation) (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, The Condominium (Amendment) Bill, The Saint Christopher and Nevis Vacation Plan and Timeshare (Amendment) Bill, The St. Kitts (Planned Community) (Amendment) Bill and The Confidential Relationships (Amendment) Bill which were in the name of Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas.
     
    Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Hon. Patrice Nisbett concluded debate also on the Evidence Bill and will lead off debate on Tuesday on the Magistrate Code of Procedure (Amendment) Bill and The Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Amendment) Bill
     
    Senior Minister and Minister of International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Agriculture, Marine Resources and Co-operatives and Constituency Empowerment, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, will lead the debate on The Dogs (Amendment) Bill and The Co-operative Societies Bill.
