Hobson Enterprises & West Side Service Center donates electric stove to St. Johnson Police Station
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - In a gesture of good corporate citizenship at 10:30 a.m. yesterday, Chief Executive Officer of Hobson Enterprises & West Side Service Centre, Mr. Damion Hobson, donated an electric stove to the Police Traffic Department at St. Johnson Police Station.
The donation was made at the St. Johnson Police Station where Mr. Hobson handed over the electric stove (valued over EC$3 000) to Woman Inspector Venetta Wyatt, Officer-in-Charge of the Police Traffic Department.
The event took place in the presence of Mr. Delroy Carey, Supervisor of the West Side Service Centre operations, and a number of Traffic Wardens and Police Officers on duty at the time.
The CEO said the catalyst to this event was a request made by Inspector Wyatt about a week ago, which sought his assistance as a businessman to help improve the living conditions and the amenities that exist at the station. ~~Adz:Right~~
Inspector Wyatt, who felt improved conditions would enhance staff morale and comfort, revealed that Mr. Hobson had in the past partnered with the St. Johnson Police Station and “continues to readily come to our assistance as long as it was feasible.”
She also expressed extreme gratitude for this magnanimous gesture and wished Hobson Enterprises and West Side Service Centre continued success in business.
