Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 6th, 2011 – Rotarians from the Rotary Club of St. Kitts continue to “reach out and embrace humanity” and recently delivered several Care Packages to the elderly, who were identified by the member churches of the St. Kitts Christian Council in the Basseterre area.
On October 1st 2011, some twenty (20) parcels filled with groceries, health and personal care products were prepared by the Community minded professionals and donated by C and C Trading Limited.
All of the beneficiaries praised the membership for the most kind and thoughtful gesture and expressed their delight in receiving the items, which will go a long way in helping to meet their immediate need.
The initiative which started in 2008 is carried out three (3) times per year, at Easter, Independence and Christmas.
