BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – ORGANIZERS of the second annual Latin Fiesta hosted a Cocktail in honour of their sponsors last evening, as organizers prepare to host the main event on Sunday, Oct. 9 at Spice Mill.
The cocktail which was held at The Embassy of Brazil at Fortlands, was a way for the organizers to formally thank their sponsors and distribute special tokens and VIP tickets to them.
Kajola-Kristada Ltd is the main sponsor of the event, and the company’s manager, Jose Rosa, thanked the sponsors for their kind support and said that this year they had seen an increase in sponsorship.
He also made special mention of Spice Mill who was willing to partner with them to organize the event.
Rosa told sponsors that it was an event they did not want to miss.
According to a previous release, Latin Fiesta seeks to increase awareness of Latin Music and improve the relations between Latin speaking countries around the Caribbean and the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.
This year, organizers have promised an even richer musical experience with the Latin Fusion band, along with an extravagant opening dance sequence by members of Areyto, the Puerto Rican national folkloric ballet.
The action kicks off from 1:30 p.m. and will go well into the evening with the rhythms of Salsa, Meringue, Jazz and much more.
Cost of admission is only EC$25, which includes one complimentary drink. Also, VIP tickets are available at EC$100, and includes a drink, delicious buffet meal and secure seating. Tickets can be purchased at Kajola Kristada Ltd, Spice Mill and Harpers.
