Third suspect in Cayon shooting arrested

BASSETERRRE, St. Kitts - TERRENCE ‘Papa’ Charles, the third individual wanted in connection with the shooting incident that occurred at Back Street, Cayon on February 12, 2008, was arrested and charged.
A police press release informs that Charles, a resident of Spooners Village, Cayon, turned himself in to the authorities and has since been charged with the offence of “Wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm”.
Charles, along with Kelston ‘Blacka’ Joseph of Ottleys, and Esroy ‘Heads’ Mills of Upper Cayon, is accused of being involved in the incident that left Orlando Huggins of Cayon Village with a gunshot wound in his left leg.
“At about 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, the police at Cayon received a report that there was a shooting at Back Street, Cayon.
They immediately responded and met Mr. Orlando Huggins of Market Alley, Cayon in the area.
He was observed to have had a gunshot wound on the upper portion of his left leg. He spoke with the police who ensured that he got medical attention. ~~Adz:Right~~
Huggins was transported to the JNF Hospital where he is currently detained,” Head of the Police’s Press and Public Relations Office, Inspector Cromwell Henry told the SKNVibes in a previous interview.
Charles, according to the press release, will appear before the District “A” Magistrate’s Court shortly.
