    Marijuana [4,100] plants uprooted in St. Peters

    ~~Adz:Left~~ BASSETERRRE, St. Kitts - IN keeping with its commitment to rid the Federation of the drug problem with which they currently grapple, members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force uprooted thousands of marijuana plants from the St. Peters area yesterday.
     
    As explained in a police press release, “On Monday 18th February 2008, police conducted operations in the Stapleton area and uprooted a total of 4,100 marijuana plants from three different parcels of land measuring approximately 5000 square feet.”
     
    The release further explained that the plants, which vary in height from seedlings to five feet, were taken into police custody. However, no one has been held in connection with the find.
     
    Investigations are ongoing.
