BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SANDY POINT’S hard hitting artiste Clevorn Maynard more popularly known as Kash Man recently penned and recorded a new track titled ‘Hip Hip Hurrah Fi Team SKN’.

The song is a dedication to Team SKN who won bronze in the 100M and the Relay meets at the IAAF World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.

According to the singer, who is becoming quite popular for his catchy ‘Stop Play’ slang, he had belted out the lyrics while ‘Free Styling’ and posted the video on Facebook after he had heard of the victory of the relay boys.

He said a number of people began reposting the video and he was contacted by two of the runners from the relay team who asked him to create the freestyle into a song.

The team consisted of Antoine Adams, Delwayne Delaney, Kim Collins and Brijesh Lawrence and Jason Rogers one of Kash Man’s fellow Sandy Pointers.

They all received great praise for their achievement and were considered to be the newest young heroes of the Federation.

Kash Man later developed the freestyle into a full track which was recorded and produced at Chabo’s Productions in Conyers Housing Project.

Not only does the song congratulate Team SKN but it also commends Kim for a job well done at the Olympics games.

The track has an upbeat riddim which could make it a club hit as he salutes what he refers to as a real national hero adding that he wants to win everything like Kim Collins.

The rising artiste currently has a number of other songs blowing up several radio stations and recently released several tracks on Freedom radio.

He said he also has a mixtape out which is being highly requested overseas and he has also been receiving overwhelming support for a number of his tracks and free styles on Facebook

Kash Man indicated that fans should look out to hearing much more from him, as he has a number of other things in the pipeline to promote himself and his growing slang ‘Stop Play’.
