    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (FEBRUARY 3RD 2004) – The Register of Voters, which includes the names of persons who were registered to vote as at December 31st 2003, has been posted.

    According to the Electoral Office, copies of the list have been posted at two conspicuous places in each Polling Division in the 11 Constituencies, on Saturday January 31st, in accordance with the provisions of the National Assembly Elections Act.

    Registered voters are being requested to check the Register of Voters to ensure that their names are listed on the Register.

    Persons who claim to be entitled to be registered as a voter and whose name, address and occupation have changed or are listed incorrectly, may claim to be registered correctly by completing a Notice of Claim and submit it to the Registration Officer at the Electoral Office by Tuesday February 10th.

    The Electoral Office said a person, whose name appears on the Register of Voters for an Electoral District, may object to the registration of any person whose name is included in the said register.

    Persons who wish to make objections to names appearing on the Register should complete a Notice of Objection and submit same to the Registration Officer not later than Tuesday February 10th.

    Claim and Objection forms can be obtained at the Electoral Offices in Basseterre and Charlestown.
