    ROADTOWN TortolaBVI, October 13th, 2011  – Management of the BVI Electricity Corporation is encouraging electricity consumers to register at www.bvielectricity.com to access vital information and utilize the option of paying bills online.

     

    The call came after the Corporation launched their much awaited and anticipated website early this week during a press conference. According to BVIEC management, the website is an invaluable tool that has a wealth of information that will empower consumers to put the management of their power supply at their finger tips.

     

    As part of continued efforts to educate the public on the use of the website, personnel at the BVIEC will be hosting free tutorials for the community on October 13, 20, and 27 from 5-6 pm at their Long Bush offices. Tutorials will also be held at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College on November 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 12:30-1:30pm in the Main Administration Building PEC Lab on the 2nd floor.

     

    Information Technology Manager, Mr. Kelvin Eubanks told the Department of Information and Public Relations that they recognize the need for hosting tutorials to make the information available to the members of the public who may have challenges navigating the website.

     

    Persons are encouraged to take advantage of the free tutorials and register their accounts online.

     

    On Monday October 10 the BVIEC officially launched their website www.bvielectricity.com as a response to customers’ needs for alternate means of paying their bills.

     

    The BVI Electricity Corporation, providing the best possible service to its customers to aid in the development of the Territory’s electrical infrastructure.
