    Car and Motorbike Head-on collision leaves two severely injured!!

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A devastating head-on collision between motor car PA 7382 and a small motorbike or scooter occurred along the frigate bay road at approximately 9:50 pm on Friday 22nd February, 2008 leaving the driver and passenger of the motorbike severely injured and hospitalized.

     

    SKNVibes.com responded to a call about this shocking incident which occurred along the frigate bay road approximately 300 yards west of the Sugars Complex. 

    The motor car PA 7382 which was driven by a student of the Ross University School veterinary medicine collided, head-on with a small yellow motorbike which was driven by Devon Payne of Lime Kiln project, Trafalgar Village, Basseterre.

     

    Both vehicles were carrying passengers; however, both the driver and the one passenger of the motorbike sustained severe injuries and broken limbs and were rush to the JNF Hospital for immediate treatment. 

    There were no reports of any serious injuries to the driver and passengers of the motor car.

     

    Both patients underwent a series of x-rays and ultra-sound scans upon arrival at the hospital and then subsequently taken to the theatre for urgent surgery.
