~~Adz:Right~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A popular omnibus owner employed at the St. Kitts Water Department was charged yesterday after a report was made against him of an alleged ‘rope-around-the-neck’ attack in the Springfield Cemetery.

Sinclair ‘Bush’ Kelly of Malone Avenue, Basseterre is on a “Wounding” charge following a report made at the Basseterre Police Station by his fiancée.

According to Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Cromwell Henry, a report was made by a young woman against Kelly, alleging that he wounded her during an altercation in the vicinity of Springfield Cemetery on Sunday, February 24.

Inspector Henry told SKNVibes that following the report, Kelly was apprehended and taken into custody on the same day of the alleged incident. He was charged yesterday with “Wounding” and is scheduled to appear in the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court soonest.

When asked for specifics leading to the alleged wounding incident, Inspector Henry said it was a domestic affair and declined to disseminate further information, noting the matter is now one for the Court.

According to unconfirmed reports however, SKNVibes learned that Kelly, while together with his fiancée in her vehicle in the vicinity of Springfield Cemetery, allegedly placed a rope around her neck following an altercation.
