Lime offers best support for new blackberry 7 smartphones

    Kingston, Jamaica – October 14, 2011: Known for superior network support of the world’s leading devices, telecommunications company LIME will introduce three new BlackBerry® 7 -based smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM) later this month.

     

    The company will bring the new BlackBerry® Torch™ 9810, BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 and BlackBerry® Torch™ 9860 smartphone to its thirteen markets across the Caribbean region.

     

    The new BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone  builds on  the popular BlackBerry Torch 9800 and combines a large touch display with a convenient slide-out keyboard. The new smartphone is faster and more fluid with high performance hardware features and the new BlackBerry 7 OS delivering an enhanced multimedia experience. Featuring a large 3.2”, high resolution touch display and a distinctive BlackBerry keyboard that easily slides out to allow faster typing, the BlackBerry Torch 9810 truly delivers the best of both worlds.

    Silvera explained that the speed and capability of the LIME network, which boasts 3G and 4G technology in some of its markets across the region, will provide BlackBerry smartphone users with an enhanced experience when compared to other providers.

     

    “The new BlackBerry 7 smartphones feature awesome upgrades that take advantage of our superior network capabilities and again, we are delivering great choices and the best value to our customers,” Silvera said.

     

    The new BlackBerry Bold 9900 is the thinnest BlackBerry smartphone yet at only 10.5mm, and the first to offer the perfect union of a high performance keyboard and touch display integrated within the iconic BlackBerry Bold design.

     

    It is also the first BlackBerry smartphone to include built-in support for NFC (Near Field Communications), a new technology that is enabling many new and exciting capabilities, including the ability to pair with NFC-enabled accessories or read SmartPoster tags with a simple tap of the smartphone.

     

    Distinguished by its beautiful design, amazingly effective keyboard and brilliant touch display, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is crafted with premium materials including a brushed stainless steel frame that puts the finishing touch on a truly outstanding smartphone.

     

    The new all-touch BlackBerry Torch 9860 has a spectacular 3.7” display, the largest ever on a BlackBerry smartphone.     The new BlackBerry smartphones run the new BlackBerry 7 operating system (OS). BlackBerry 7 provides users with a fast, fluid and intuitive experience, featuring a next generation BlackBerry Browser, voice-activated searches, the ability to manage personal content separately from corporate content, as well as additional personal and productivity apps out of the box.
