Customers in Half Moon Bay & Calypso Bay to benefit from cell tower development
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts October 19th, 2011 – Digicel continues to live up to its name and tagline of being “The Bigger, Better Network” in St. Kitts and Nevis. Digicel customers in St. Kitts can now enjoy greater coverage and service as three new cellular sites have been commissioned around the island.
Digicel customers on both the eastern and western sides of St. Kitts will experience superior coverage. The 3 new cell sites which came on stream last week will positively impact customers in the Calypso Bay, Half Moon Bay areas and some parts of the South East Peninsula.
In addition, mobile customers in the surrounding areas of Camps and Mattingley Heights will also more readily experience the power of Digicel’s EDGE network.
Country Manager for Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis, Sean Latty, in commenting on the company’s recent upgrade in coverage said, “As the Bigger and Better Network in St. Kitts and Nevis we continuously commit ourselves to expanding the service coverage area.”
