BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - AS a condition of his bail, Walford Arthurton has been ordered to stay at least 100 feet away from the young lady who has accused him of performing an act of “indecent assault” on her.

Arthurton, popular taxi driver and political activist, was arrested on Monday and charged with the offence after an anonymous lady filed a complaint at the Basseterre Police Station. This report was filed over the weekend.

Arthurton, who voluntarily paid a visit to the police station, was detained there for questioning on Monday and later charged.

Bail was granted him yesterday (Tuesday) in the sum of $25 000 with two sureties and as a condition of bail, he is to surrender his travel documents.

Arthurton will be required to make an appearance before the court shortly where he will answer to the indecent assault charge.

SKNVibes contacted Arthurton on Wednesday evening for comment, but he said he was advised not to give any statement on the situation. ~~Adz:Right~~
