Nine winners for bMobile/SKNVibes Valentine’s Promotion

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A prize giving ceremony held at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel made seven persons very happy yesterday afternoon. The ceremony was the culmination of hard work and partnership between the officials of SKNVibes and bMobile Cable & Wireless [C&W] St. Kitts & Nevis in managing the Valentine’s Promotion throughout its duration.
Vice President [VP] Human Resources C&W St. Kitts & Nevis, Curtis Martin, said he was pleased with the overwhelming response the public had to this exciting, though, short promotion.
VP Corporate Sales C&W Terrence Crossman and SKNVibes Chief Financial Officer Stachio Williams both made brief remarks concerning their actual involvement in monitoring the process. Crossman recalled making late-night calls to ask Williams “how are things going”, while Williams remembered receiving calls from customers requesting information on the position of their entries.
The announcement of prizes was done by Martin while Williams and Crossman presented winners with their prizes.
Kimbel Jeffers was the winner of the Consolation prize given to a Random Voter. Unfortunately, Jeffers was not present to accept the prize which was a Gift Certificate from Beauty Down Under.
Winners of the bMobile & SKNVibes Valentine’s Promotion are as follow:
Top Voters/Texters
• Gretson Isaac placed fourth and won a Gift Set, compliments of the Body Haven;
• Veneshaw Hodge placed third winning a Gift Basket, compliments The Webster’s Style;
• Second place went to Kyrle Chumney, who won a Gift Certificate for Brown Suggar; and
• First place winner Ronette Bridgewater received a Gift Set, compliments of DuPont’s Jewellery.
Top Valentine Message
• The Grand Prize of a trip for two to Atlanta aboard Delta Airlines was won by Ancilla Chumney;
• Michael Bridgewater placed second and won a two-night stay at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort;
• Alden Armony placed third and won a Lovers’ Package at the St. Kitts Marriott Emerald Mist Spa; and
• Fourth place winner Sharon Thomas copped a Fruit Basket, compliments of Gary Fruits & Flowers. But, like Jeffers, she was not present to receive her prize.
The Valentine’s Promotion began on February 4, 2008 and ran for 10 days, ending at midnight on Valentine’s Day. Customers of bMobile C&W St. Kitts & Nevis were told to send in their most romantic texts. All entries were edited for content and approved before being placed on SKNVibes.com website. Visitors to the website viewed and voted for the most romantic sounding text. The winners were chosen by popular demand.
