    Rotary Club donates Ambulance and EKG Machines to J.N.F Hospital

    ~~Adz:Right~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts:  THE St. Kitts Rotary Club in collaboration with Hackettown Rotary Club in New Jersey and the Brandon Club in Florida has donated two EKG machines and one fully equipped ambulance to the J. N. F. General Hospital earlier this morning January 7th.
     
    Present at the handing over were the Hon. Rupert Herbert, Minister of Health, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Cameron Wilkinson, President of the St. Kitts Rotary Club, Leah Sahely, President of the Florida Rotary Club, Allen Feldman, other Rotary Club officials, St. Kitts Health officials and EMS personnel.
     
    Dr. Wilkinson said the Rotary Club has been donating equipment to the hospital over the years and that they certainly go a long way in providing quality health care to persons of the Federation and visitors as well.
     
    He also said that the every year the hospital makes a wish list of material and equipment which are needed and gives it to the Rotary Club which tries to donate as much as it can.
     
    Sahely said it was an honor to donate the machines and ambulance to the hospital and went on to say that the Rotary Club is looking forward to making more donations in the future.
     
    The keys for the ambulance were presented to Minister Herbert who promptly thanked the Rotary Club for their donation and assured that the equipment would be put to good use.
