Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 21st, 2011 -   In exactly one week on Friday October 28th, Warner Park will radiate with rhythmic sounds of world-class performers when Queen Anastasia, Shakki, Rolhensha, Empress Livity, Dymanyzd, Queen Ifrica, Cecile, Tanya Stephens, Alaine and Lady Saw exhilarate the audience at the highly anticipated women’s empowerment concert entitled: “A Stitch in Time.” Attendees will be treated to a night of musical opulence while being enlightened on issues that plague women in our society.

The aforementioned artists will pay visits to all of the high schools on St. Kitts where they will meet and greet students. “These music icons are role models for young people and so we would like to have them serve as point persons for critical issues that plague societies” said Event Organizer, Wayne Clarke.

“It is important that positive messages are transmitted throughout so that our youth can better understand that there is something embedded in these artists beyond their musical performances.” The entertainers will also visit the Five Star sponsor for the event, Brown Hill Communications in Nevis to mix and mingle with the staff and executive team.

“A Stitch in Time” kicks off at 8PM and will be hosted by popular comedienne extraordinaire, Rachel Price and the enthusiastic and amicable Sister Sensia of St. Kitts. Gumption Band out of Jamaica, Royalties and DJ Ronnie Rascal will keep the audience rocking all night.

The thrilling music affair is being made possible through the unwavering support of ZIZ Broadcasting Corporation, Digicel, Rum Barrel, Sprat Net, Avis Car Rental, St. Kitts, Nevis & Anguilla National Bank, Shiggity Shack and Brown Hill Communications.

Tickets are available in advance for $50 dollars at NR Sales (Fort Street), Morton’s Supermarket (Cayon Street), Wheels & Brakes (Industrial Site), Gabby’s Shop (Old Road), Fraites and Sons Enterprises (Molineux), B’s Enterprises (Sandy Point), Richard’s Shop (St. Paul’s) and from Marvin Herbert and Randy Nicholls.
