~~Adz:Left~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE are investigating a Saturday night shooting incident in Sandy Point that left a young man hospitalised.

Twenty-year-old Chena Evans of The Alley, Sandy Point was shot three times to the body in his home village by an unknown assailant(s) last Saturday night.

Press and Public Relations Officer of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Inspector Cromwell Henry told SKNVibes that at about 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 police in Sandy Point heard the reports of gunshots coming from the direction of Pogson Hospital.

Henry said investigations led the officers to the Joseph N France General Hospital, where they met Evans nursing gunshot wounds to the head, shoulder and back.

“The wound to Evans’ head was diagnosed as a graze and neither of the other two, as well as the head wound is considered dangerous,” Henry said.
