Drugs Found
~~Adz:Right~~ On Wednesday 12th March 2008, police on Nevis conducted operations in the Gingerland area and discovered a total of 525 marijuana plants growing on a plot of land.
The plants, which range from 1 to 3 feet in height were uprooted and taken into police custody. No one was made accountable for the find but investigations are ongoing.
Police on St. Kitts conducted stop and search operations in the Conaree area on Wednesday 12th March 2008 for control drugs, arms and ammunition. A number of persons were stopped and searched but nothing illegal was found, however further search conducted in a fence revealed a zip lock bag containing marijuana.
No one was held accountable for the find but the drugs were taken into police custody pending further investigation
