    ~~Adz:Left~~ BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - EIGHT individuals are expected to make appearances before the court shortly in answer to charges brought against them, which they were believed to have committed last week.
     
    Among these are an 11-year-old and a 15-year-old from the Tabernacle area. They were charged with one count each of “wounding” and “being armed with an offensive weapon”; offences that the police state were committed on Tuesday last.
     
    Keys Village resident Glenville ‘Peter’ Maynard was on Wednesday last arrested and charged with “being armed with an offensive weapon” while Boyds Village resident Trevorn Joseph was charged with “Possession of cannabis” allegedly committed at Boyds Village on March 11, 2008.
     
    Jacqueline Edinborough and Emilio Galpal Ortega of Sandown Road were jointly charged with one count of “larceny” said to have been committed on March 5, 2008 while Florence Francis, a resident of Lodge Village, was charged with a March 9, 2008 offence of “larceny”.
     
    “Driving a motor vehicle when not covered by insurance”, “driving without a valid driver’s license” and “driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention” were the charges preferred against Noel Stevens of Camps.
     
    According to police, “the charges were laid against Stevens on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 after his arrest on the same date.”
