Resellers of Cable & Wireless cards services will be rewarded for their efforts in phone card sales and service at a Card Vendors Awards and Cocktails.  The event, which is in its third year, will include a short presentation to six of the top customers who have distinguished themselves in categories ranging from highest phone card sales to most knowledgeable card vendor.

 

Delighted to share in this significant customer event for the first time, Chief Executive of Cable & Wireless St. Kitts and Nevis, Pat Walters, said that the event underscores her companys appreciation of the mutually beneficial relationship, which has developed over the years.  She added, in the business of telecommunications, partnership is a critical element for success and we are very happy that we can express the value of this relationship with our card vendors through this event.

 

Over 250 invitations were issued to all Vendors of Cable & Wireless phone cards and other services.  It is expected that anticipation amongst the vendors will be high as the Awards presentation segment usually generates a lot of interest. 

 

Channel Manager of Cable & Wireless, Troy Mills, said that from his observation, it is evident that the Card Vendors are keen to do well, not just in their total sales but also in the general provision of the service.  In recent times I have had quite a lot of inquiries about the event from vendors, which indicates that they are very aware of what is at stake, concluded the Channel Manager.

 

Two new categories have been added to the slate of awards this year to include Most Creative Vendor and Most Knowledgeable Vendor.  The latter is judged on the product and service knowledge of the mobile phone, and how this knowledge translates into assisting customers.

 

This years event takes place on Thursday 16 December, at the Frigate Bay Beach Resort.
