Press Release

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, October 28th 2011 - The highly revered women’s empowerment concert dubbed “A Stitch in Time” takes place tonight at the Historic Warner Park. The artists scheduled to “wow” the Kittitian audience at Carnival Village, visited the high schools in St. Kitts to speak on a few pressing issues that cloak our society. The students had the opportunity to engage in friendly conversation with some of their favourite performers and were told of the importance of honoring women, as they are the mothers of all societies.

Today, the musicians will visit 5-Star sponsor for the event, Brown Hill Communications in Nevis to meet and greet the staff and executive team.

“A Stitch in Time” kicks off at 8PM and will feature both local and international superstars such as Alaine, Cecile, Lady Saw, Queen Ifrica, Tanya Stephens, Rolhensha, Shakki, Queen Anastasia, Empress Livity and Dymanyzd. Trinidadian comedienne Rachel Price and Popular Kittitian personality Sister Sensia will serve as the hosts for the event that is being described as a night of musical grandeur. The Gumption Band of Jamaica, Royalties Band and DJ Ronnie Rascal will ensure that the extravaganza is sizzling hot.
