This is what St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas told nationals of the Federation through citizenship by investment as well as potential investors in the United Arab Emirates last week, when speaking about the opportunities for further investment in the transformation and economic development of the Federation.
He stated that this has been achieved through strategic and creative initiatives by Government which is very committed, despite the accustomed disadvantages of small geographical size, to pursue policies which allow the people of St. Kitts and Nevis the tools and information to participate actively in a global arena.

ECCB – On Wednesday (Nov. 2) the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) hosted its 16th Annual Sir Arthur Lewis Memorial Lecture at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium at the ECCB Headquarters.
Dr Vaughan Lewis, Professor Emeritus, Institute of International Relations of the University of the West Indies, St Augustine campus, shared his perspectives on “CARICOM and the Caribbean in a Changing International Order”.
On that same evening, ECCB also be awarded commercial banks which operate within the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) for their outstanding contribution to the overall development and well-being of the citizens of the region, at the 2011 Best Corporate Citizen Awards Among ECCU Commercial Banks.
The Republic Bank of Grenada Ltd emerged the winner of the award, defeating eleven other commercial banks, taking three of the seven categories for which they were adjudged to have carried out their corporate social responsibilities to the highest level.
