Chippie has Island Rally with Big Phone Sale Saturday (12 April 08) in Nevis

Sales Services and Marketing Representative for CHIPPIE Alfred Harley
ST. KITTS— Nevis will be the centre of attraction this weekend as UTS-Chippie embarks on an Island Rally on Saturday 12 April on the neighbouring island in its continued drive to increase its customer base within the Federation.

A group of nearly 50 people will travel via the Sea Bridge with several vehicles donned with CHIPPIE banners, will travel on Saturday with ten Chippie Girls and the Evolution Sounds Family to bring the good news of Chippie to the Nevisian population. They will of course be led by this year’s Miss Back To Roots Queen Trevecia Adams whose face can be seen on Chippie billboards all around St. Kitts.

While the Evolution Sounds will be playing its music throughout the rally, there will also be some bands playing in Nevis while the Chippie group rally’s around the island unveiling several billboards and selling its cellular phones and products. The Odisi Band will be playing in the Memorial Square in Charlestown for the entertainment of the General Public from 12:00 midday until 5:00pm.

The rally will end at the Courtyard in Charlestown where the ever popular Ultra Sonic Band will be playing free of Charge. There will be lots of opportunities to get cellular phones and Phone Cards with Chippie Doubles being offered as well.

As was the case during the very successful Island Rally on St. Kitts about a month ago which took St. Kitts completely by surprise, the company intends to grab the attention of Nevisians when it unveils its billboards around the island.

Sales Services and Marketing Representative for CHIPPIE Alfred Harley said Tuesday that the company’s plans to go to Nevis were pushed forward because of the high demand for the product as expressed by many Nevisians who posted their concerns that they were being neglected.

He said that the company was already planning several activities for Nevis. “We know that once we set the trend others may follow therefore we not only need to ensure that we do it big when we promote the Chippie product but we also have to ensure that we do it properly, said Harley.

Harley said that while in Nevis Chippie will also promote its Chippie/Bare Vybz “Cure” Concert which features Reggae Superstar Jah Cure out of Jamaica. Jah Cure is set to grace the stage at Carnival Village on Saturday April 26 and according to Harley there are lots of “very creative promotions linked to the show for those who have Chippie Phones.”

Harley said Chippie has also been making assessments within the Market on Nevis in a bid to improve the way the company does business there as well. “We intend to treat Nevis with equal attention as we give to St. Kitts,” said Harley.

When asked about Chippie Give Aways Harley said some “Goodies” were in store for the Nevis population, especially for those who purchase the Chippie products.
