BASSETERRE, St. Kitts:  LOCAL singer ‘Jah Fire’ spoke exclusively to SKNVibes.com to clear the air on an incident that occurred at about 7am on Sunday 6th when he was shot in his leg by an off-duty Defense Force Soldier.

The popular artiste said the whole incident was “a misunderstanding” between him and bus driver Dave Rubaine who operates passenger bus of H7585.

“I am a very humble youth and being a singer, I don’t want my fans to think I’m singing about keeping the peace doing the opposite in real life,” he said.

The young man, who is from Ottley’s Village has performed on many local shows and is featured on the newly released ‘Ballerz Riddim’ which has been well talked about since its recent release.

He is also known for two of his more popular songs “Ease off the guns” and “Mama alone”.  ~~Adz:Right~~

Jah Fire said he wants his fans to keep the faith in him and to know that Jah Fire is not about violence but about promoting positive music and giving good vibes to the people.

“I will also like to let my fans know that I am fine and I will still be performing on the Jah Cure show later this month as planed” he assured.
