TDC Service Technicians sharpen their Skills

Basseterre, St. Kitts – Technicians at the TDC Business Equipment Departments on St. Kitts and Nevis are having their skill sets sharpened through a series of ongoing training programmes organized by CANON Latin America Limited.
The highly interactive and hands on sessions are being facilitated by specialists and featured a number of Colour, and Black and White Printer/Copiers already available within the Federation.
Mr. Alejandro Samaniego of the Pamana based Office Products Technical Division (OPTD) conducted an Applied Technology Workshop, which featured the imageRunner 2270/2870/3570/4570 Black and White Copier. The in-house module focused on connectivity using Software and Hardware, Configuration, Diagnostics, Troubleshooting, and Customer Relations. .
In addition to the home based training, Mr. Valdis Jeffers, a Senior Service Technician from the St. Kitts Office, recently returned to the island after completing a one (1) week intensive service course using the imageRunner C3380/C2880 Series. This high volume unit is a compact new-generation, full-color digital multifunctional solution that allows users to output color and black-and-white documents. ~~Adz:Right~~
According to Mr. Clayton Douglas, Service Manager of the Department, “emphasis is being placed on Education to ensure that Technicians remain knowledgeable about the products, as well as, changes taking place in the industry in an effort to provide usual high standards of quality service to Customers/Clients.”
The CANON Programmes all are certificated and provide Frontline Staff with the necessary tools and resources to carry out their respective tasks with competence, expertise, and professionalism.
