BASSETERRE St. Kitts, November 24th 2011 - The Children’s Dance Theatre (CDT) has been working assiduously to illuminate the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium with Christmas grandeur on Saturday December 17th and Sunday December 18th, 2011.
The dance group which entered its 22nd year this October, serves as one of the Federation’s longest standing institutions promoting the performing arts. More than one hundred (100) performing artists will grace the stage to present a powerful and artistic recital dubbed “CHRISTMAS BY DE BUS STOP”.
“The goal of this production is to showcase the talents of our dancers as multi-faceted budding performing artists,” said a CDT spokesperson. “This has been an amazing year for the Theatre and we are so eager to present an enjoyable and high caliber recital that we have been working on for several months.”
Already National Bank, a long serving supporter of CDT, has confirmed its willingness to provide sponsorship for this year’s Christmas recital. As a result National has been designated a Five Star Sponsor of ‘Christmas By De Bus Stop’.
