Two winners are selected at random each month and the promotion is expected to end at the end of December.

All purchases come with a zero down payment with no payments until February 2012.

Courts’ Black Friday sale stemmed from the shopping tradition in the United States where the day after thanksgiving, most businesses would offer major sales whether storewide or on selected items.

From this backdrop, the decision was made to bring Black Friday to the Federation and have a blowout sale before Christmas as a means of giving back to the public.

Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.

On this day, most major retailers open extremely early, often at 4 a.m., or earlier, and offer promotional sales to kick off the shopping season.

Black Friday is not actually a holiday.

The term Black Friday originated in Philadelphia, where it originally was used to describe the heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic, which would occur on the day after Thanksgiving.

Use of the term began in Philadelphia, and then spread to other cities around 1975.

The earliest known reference to ‘Black Friday’ to refer to the day after Thanksgiving was made in a 1966 publication in Philadelphia:

“Black Friday is the name which the Philadelphia Police Department has given to the Friday following Thanksgiving Day. ‘Black Friday’ officially opens the Christmas shopping season in center city, and it usually brings massive traffic jams and over-crowded sidewalks.”

The blowout sale start tomorrow (Nov. 25) at 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The store will open at 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
