    Panty possessor fined $750

    ~~Adz:Right~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts: The man who was some time ago found to be in “illegal possession of panties” was convicted of the offence on Tuesday, April 17, 2008.
     
    Kevin Kelly of St. Pauls appeared before the District “B” Magistrate’s Court on the said charge and was convicted and fined $750 which is to be paid within one month. Failure to do so would land Kelly in Her Majesty’s Prison for one month.
     
    The charge was brought against him following a ‘Stop and Search’ operation conducted by the police on Saturday, April 5, 2008. When approached by police during the operation, Kelly was found with a container, which when searched turned out to be filled with the women’s underwear.
     
    According to the police, Kelly “was unable to give a satisfactory reason for such possession” and the aforesaid charge was laid.
