BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE All-Inclusive Carnival Fete, Inception, ‘Wotless-Edition’ has returned with more exciting entertainment and will be held on Friday, December 30, at the historic Fort Thomas Hotel Grounds featuring one of the Caribbean’s most successful soca bands, ‘Krosfyah’.

The award-winning band featuring Edwin Yearwood is best known for hits like ‘She Body in Control’, ‘Pump Me Up’ and ‘Sak Passe’.

A press conference was held yesterday, (Dec. 7), at Cloud 9, where the lineup and other details of the event were revealed by the organizers known as Professional Promoters.

Along with Krosfyah, the event will also feature a host of bands and DJs Sweet Sister Sensia, Chalice Sounds, Midnight Squad, Sugar Bowl and Wett Dutt.

The lineup will continue with Nu Vybes, Small Axe, Grand Masters, Odisi, Newtown Iron Band, Infamus, and the winners of both categories of the Soca Monarch Competition.

Inception was first introduced to Kittitians and Nevisians last year, when it was advertised as an event with a cover charge of $100 for unlimited various drinks all night.

Patrons partied ‘til morning and left when the last band, Small Axe stopped playing at sometime close to 9: 00 a.m.

Breakfast was also served and many said it was the best event for the Carnival season.

“It is a pleasure to be organizing the second annual fete,” said Chairman of the event Anthony Johnson.

“We felt the need to provide an avenue for local and visitors to celebrate Carnival in an attractive and secure environment, and in doing so we decided the best way would be an all inclusive event and we cannot do this without the many sponsors and contributors to this event.”

Marsha Henderson, deputy chairperson of the event said that patrons upon arrival will be greeted by the Inception girls and handed an Inception glow in the dark mug.

The mug will first be filled with their signature drink Inceptini, and can be refilled with any other drink of their choice.

A sober zone will also be on the grounds for those who need a break from the alcohol or those who prefer water and energy drinks. In addition, vendors will have food on sale.

For those who will opt for that extra special treatment, owners of Cloud 9 will be in charge of the VIP section and will offer a package for persons coming from Nevis. They also said that they will have special surprises for their patrons.

A number of promotional events will be organized where persons can win free tickets for the event, and there will also be a special early bird ticket price.

The cost of the event is EC$100 for an unlimited amount of drinks and breakfast, while EC$150 is the cost of a VIP package which will also include finger foods.

Edwin Yearwood of Krosfyah telephoned during the press conference which was carried live via Freedom FM that he was excited about the event and that patrons were in for a real ‘wotless time’.

As one member of the team put it, “You do not want to miss this fete! Where else can you get this package? It’s a steal of a deal!
