TDC Home and Building Depot offers New Shopping Experience

Mr. Steve Zareski, Do it Best Corp Retail Plus Manager and Mr. Denisio Pennyfeather, Sales Assistant of the TDC Home and Building Depot restocking shelves at the TDC Home and Building Depot
Basseterre, St. Kitts – The standards of retailing and merchandising have been taken to the next level at the Federation’s largest Superstore, the TDC Home and Building Depot on the Frigate Bay Road.

The four thousand square foot (4000 sq. ft.) area has been transformed over the last two (2) weeks to offer shoppers with more shopping space, wider product variety, and a bigger inventory of products for every room of the house, tool shop, or that Do It Yourself project.

A two (2) member team from the International recognized Do it Best Corp. in the persons of Steve Zareski and Travis Corneliusen, and three (3) Certified Merchandisers thoroughly converted the general layout, floor space, and other merchandising attributes to complement the shopping experience.

According to Mr. Corneliusen, a Do it Best International Market Development Specialist based in Indiana, USA, “substantial work has been put into this project to significantly improve displays, shelving, the introduction of a new products mix, which will give shoppers more varieties and more choices.”

General Manager of the Home and Building Depot, Mr. Glenville Jeffers, spoke of the importance of the upgrades and some of the benefits to Customers/Clients.  ~~Adz:Right~~

“We are very pleased to have the Do it Best team working with us on this project. These professionals will help to further enhance the overall aesthetics of the store, which will allow us to showcase new displays and products in an effort to make the shopping experience here more rewarding,” expressed Jeffers.

To celebrate the occasion, on Saturday 26th April 2008, patrons will receive storewide discounts, view product demonstrations, and get the chance to win prizes in a series of in-house giveaways.

In 2003, the TDC Home and Building Depot opened its doors to the public, as an amalgamation of the TDC Home Centre and Building Materials Departments.
