Queen Contestants movie night
Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 12th, 2011 - The six beautiful National Carnival Queen contestants took some time out from their preparations for the pageant on Saturday, 10th December, to enjoy a night at the movies, compliments Caribbean Cinemas.

The six young beauties arrived at the movies around about 9:00pm and attracted attention from many patrons, some of whom took the opportunity to pose with the beauties for photos.

This is the second year that the management of Caribbean Cinemas has hosted the delegates for the annual National Carnival Queen Pageant. A spokesperson for the company indicated that they recognize the importance of the culture and heritage of the people of St. Kitts & Nevis, and understand how important the carnival celebrations are to the promotion and preservation of Kittitian culture.

The official said, that this is why Caribbean Cinemas readily agreed to accommodate the request, when presented by VhCommunications & Marketing Agency, to host the delegates, also recognizing that when preparing for an event of this nature, it becomes necessary at times to just relax and enjoy some time together; away from the very hectic schedule that goes with the preparations for such a tough competition.

Caribbean Cinemas extended best wishes to the contestants for their upcoming contest on 27th December, at Warner Park.

The movie selected for viewing by the contestants was the popular comedy Jack & Jill, featuring Adam Saddler. The night out was organized as part of their communications & interview skills training program, spearheaded by VhCommunications and facilitated by Mr. Val Henry.

The next major event for the ladies is the MiyVue.com/ZIZ Radio Interview to be staged at Central Street between Fort Street and New Street on 16th December at 4:00pm.Then on Monday 19th December, they will appear in the television version of the MiyVue.com/ZIZ Best Interviews, involving all six delegates.
