Press Release

ST.GEORGE'S Grenada, December 19th, 2011 -- Grenadian Soca Star Tallpree has just completed preliminary work on his third music video; the song being featured this time is his 2011 hit tune ‘Jab All Over’.

On Sunday December 18th, at Jab Jab City in Morne Delice, St. David and with the selfless assistance of the ‘Real Jab Jab’, a jouvert morning scene was re-created to accommodate the shooting of the video.

The aim of the video is to consolidate Tallpree’s place in entertainment circles as the original ‘Jab Jab King’, a title that has been bestowed on him since his 1999 mega-hit, ‘Old Woman Alone’.  The 2011 song ‘Jab All Over’ describes all the elements of Jab Jab and highlights some of the things that might take place once the infectiousness of the music takes over.

In 2011 Tallpree celebrated 20 years as an entertainer and this new video is another way to reach his fans (especially with the availability of social media) to promote jab music and to showcase the energy, creativity and originality of not just Grenada’s Carnival but of Grenadians.

The making of the video required the involvement of some loyal and cooperative individuals and companies to who Tallpree is extremely thankful.

They include, LIME, Grenada Distillers Ltd. (makers of Special Dark Rum), Netherlands Insurance Co. (WI) Ltd., the Grenada Board of Tourism, Bananas Night Club, Grenada Bottling Company, PartyGrenada.com, BOSSFM, CitySoundFM, the La Fillette Jab Jab, the Real Jab Jab, Stephen ‘Slum’ Jacob, the Royal Grenada Police Force and all who came out on Sunday to make the video shoot the success it was.

The video will premier within the next 2 weeks, just in time for the 2012 Trinidad and Tobago carnival season.
