    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, December 22nd 2011 - Vivacious, friendly and kind-hearted are a few distinguishing qualities that describe Jody Carter’s disposition. Some may ask who is Jody Carter?

     

    Jody is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Courtland Carter. She resides with her parents and other siblings at Trafalgar Village Basseterre. Jody possesses an easy-going and positive attitude and on December 27th 2011, you will be dazzled by her explosive confidence and determination as contestant #2 in the National Carnival queen Pageant.

     

    Jody was born on November 23rd 1987 under the Astrological sign Sagittarius. People tend to be attracted to Jody because as a Sagittarius she has a natural to remain poised and relaxed in stressful or tense situation. She is tolerant and open-minded, loves adventure and will not hastily judge someone just by their physical appearance.

     

    Education is of utmost importance to Ms Carter as it was always instilled from a young girl that education is the key to success and knowledge is power. Her primary and secondary education was nurtured at the St. Theresa’s Convent School where she obtained passes in O-Level subjects.

     

    Her sign rules the centaur, half man, half horse, pointing high toward the sky, which symbolizes her quest to reach the lofty goals she’s set. In the not too distant future, Jody wishes to become a Certified Public Account. Currently she studies at the University of the West Indies in the Long Distance Learning Programme.

     

    From a tender age, Jody fell in love with music. She gravitated to learning the art of playing the steel pan. Her musical exposure with the steel pan gave her an edge when she played a musical rendition at the Miss PAM Queen Show in 2006 where she placed 2nd runners up. She is also a lover of dramatic shows. In 2006, she represented RBC Royal Bank of Canada St. Kitts in The Easter Link-Up held in Dominica. Her dramatic presentation outshone all the other Eastern Caribbean Islands.

     

    Jody not only is an avid pan player but an excellent team player at the RBC Royal Bank of Canada. She received awards for the area of support within the St. Kitts Branch.

     

    Jody feels that with God all things are possible and it is with this mindset that she intends to confidently display her poise, talent and positivity in this year’s National Carnival Queen Pageant.
