LIME gives lifetime of Mobile and Internet Services to two lucky customers

Denise Barrett-Defreitas -Winner of Mobile lifetime prize
Press Release

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts:  December 22nd, 2011 - Two more customers have joined the enviable rank of LIME’s lifetime promotion winners.  On Monday, Rosalyn Williams and Denise Barett-DeFreitas received the news of winning free internet and mobile service respectively for a lifetime.

Both customers won by topping up their LIME mobile phones - one of the qualifying methods to win in this exciting Christmas promotion.  There are fifteen other similar prizes at stake so customers paying their bills in full and on time, buying a mobile or topping up for $10 will likewise qualify.

The presentation party met Mrs Williams on her job in Frigate Bay where they  delivered the news of a lifetime.  Mrs Williams confessed that she has only had internet service for about two years, but not having to pay a bill for the next forty years was simply unbelievable. “I have never won anything before, but to be told today that I have won free internet for 40 years is the best news I could get for Christmas,” she said joyfully.

A food vendor, the second winner, Mrs Denise Barrett-DeFreitas was genuinely surprised when she saw the caravan of vehicles approaching.  “Is this some sort of joke?” she retorted.  She recalled being contacted by a LIME staff but dismissed it as a prank since this time of the year “persons were known to make a joke out of these things”, as she summed it up.  It took some convincing before she was prepared to accept the news that she had won free mobile service for life.  “Wow! This is still hard for me to believe, but I want to thank you guys still.”

As the presentation proceeded, passers-by stopped to inquire the reason for the festive atmosphere and congratulated Mrs DeFreitas from a distance. “Never in my wildest dreams did I expect this news, but I am happy to know that I won this prize. I know I will outlive the prize of forty years, so I hope at that time I will win an extension of the prize,” she said jokingly.

The promotion which began in mid November and was originally set to end on Christmas Eve has been extended by popular demand until December 31st.  This extension gives customers an extra week to qualify to be a part of the winning circle. Of the next fifteen prizes left, one lucky customer will win the full suite of services, that is, landline, mobile and internet for the next forty years.
