ST. GEORGE'S Grenada,  December 21st  , 2011 -- Former Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell has continued his yearly tradition of paying a special visit to Capital City and other main towns at Christmas time.

The Opposition Leader visited the vendors of the St. George Market Square and businesses around the capital city as the tempo of the 2011 Christmas Season remains abnormally slow.

Market vendors and the average man and woman in the street showed their affinity toward the man who held the reins of power in Grenada for thirteen consecutive years as Prime Minister. They lamented the slow pace of sales or non-existence of any sales in some instances.

Vendors, Taxi Drivers, Busmen, Pedestrians, Business people small and large all took the opportunity to shake the hand of the man many described as the one they are waiting for to help take Grenada out of the economic malaise in which it is now entrenched.

The walk has become a yearly feature of the Opposition Leader started while he held the Office of Prime Minister and continued as Opposition Leader. Dr. Mitchell wished all a Very Merry Christmas and a Bright and Prosperous 2012.
