Start Route for Jouvert - Old Treasury Building
Bands, Sound Systems, Road March Contenders, Steel Bands, Individuals, Jouvert Troupes can leave from any location but must all make way to the National Museum (Old Treasury Building), turn right or left up Fort Street via the Circus then will be directed as follows:-
Route 1 - Right on Cayon Street, right on West Independence Square Street, right on Bay Road, right up Fort Street
Route 2 - Left on Cayon Street, down Church Street, into Lower College Street, left on the Bay Road and left up Fort Street
All Jouvert troupes, sound systems, road march contenders, steel bands must take each route, passing Route 1 then Route 2 and continue accordingly.
Judging Process for Jouvert
A panel of judges will adjudicate the Jouvert Troupes, Individual Mas' Players and Road March at the following judging points:
National Museum - Bay Road
Subway - Corner of Fort Street and Cayon Street
National Bank - West Independence Square Street
Development Bank - Church Street
Awards for Jouvert
Winner of Individual Mas'
Best Jouvert Troupe
Winner of Road March (Participation in the Grand Carnival Parade is also required to be in contention for the Road March Title)

Use of colour/material/accessories - 10
Presentation/ Performance - 20

Judging of Road March
The judging of the Road March Title will be done at the following activities:
Jouvert Morning between 5:00am and 11:00 am (jamming continues until 12 noon)
Grand Carnival Parade from 11am to 5pm (jamming continues until 9pm)
Each Judge will award one (1) point to the tune played at the judging points on Jouvert and Grand Parade Day.
Each registered Jouvert Band, Sound System, Road March Contender must pass each judging point on Jouvert at least twice.
