BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - HERE it is folks, Konris Maynards’ song for the Beaumont Park Soca Monarch Competition Power category - ‘Everybody’.
King Konris who is the reigning power monarch sent his song to local media and DJs this morning (Dec. 23) - the same day of the competition.
He told SKNVibes he recently returned to the island and as he resides in the British Virgin Islands he was unable to release the song before due to other unforeseen circumstances.
However, if anyone can sway a crowd with a new song it would be the former four-time St. Kitts Calypso Monarch and two-peat Leeward Islands Calypso King.
In speaking with SKNVibes, Maynard seemed very confident about his performance in the power category and said that it will be something new.
So can he do it? Can he capture the Power category with his newly released song? It all goes down tonight at the Beaumont Park Soca Monarch Competition at Sugar Mill.
