The New Year’s Eve Kittitian Countdown Fireworks Xtravaganza, Midnight December 31, 2011 @ Port Zante

Press Release

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, December 30th, 2011 -- NICOl International Services Trading & Development Inc would like to take this opportunity to officially launch the first ever national fireworks display. This product is aimed at attracting the entire general public and our visitors to experience an array of Carnival activities that includes the spectacular New Year’s Eve Kittitian Countdown Fireworks Extravaganza.

The New Year’s Eve Kittitian Countdown would be a stunning fireworks display at Port Zante’s coastline that commences immediately after an official countdown by the newly crown  2011/12  Carnival Queen, to start off the New Year Celebrations.  Folklore performances will be featured before and after the countdown of the New Year’s Eve Kittitian Countdown Fireworks Xtravaganza.

This would be the Federation’s way of acknowledging the culture of our visitors, showing appreciation of our visitors for choosing St. Kitts & Nevis for their Christmas vacation and at the same time promoting and marketing the New year’s Eve Kittitian Countdown Fireworks Extravaganza as an annual event.

Randolph Hamilton said,” Importantly, this product will also provide local entrepreneurs (vendors) with the opportunity to provide local goods and services to the captive audience in and around Port Zante and downtown Basseterre”.
