Mac 11 hospitalised from stab wound

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE are investigating a stabbing incident which has left a male resident of McKnight hospitalised.

     

    Information reaching SKNVibes states that Dwight ‘Mac 11’ Jacobs of McKnight was stabbed close to the region of his heart on Saturday (Jan. 7) and was transported to the JNF General Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is warded there.

     

    According to the Police Press and Public Relations Officer, Sergeant Stephen Hector, police received a report on Saturday that a man suffering from a stab wound was at the Accident and Emergency Unit seeking medical attention.

     

    “On receipt of the report, police responded immediately and found the wounded man, Dwight Jacobs, at the Accident and Emergency Unit of the JNF Hospital.

     

    “The officers enquired from the victim how he was wounded and who did it, but he did not fully cooperate with the investigators; however, investigations are continuing,” Hector said.

     

    The six-foot-plus Jacobs is an ardent basketball player and is a member of the Ghaut Bucs Basketball Team.
