BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, January16th, 2012 - The launch of the iPhone 4S experience at LIME’s flagship store on Friday last Cayon Street created a hive of activity. Customers who may have missed the many teasers in the media for the last few weeks, would surely have picked up on the buzz in the store. Even the casual passerby in the vicinity of its down town location would have seen the six-foot window decal proclaiming the arrival of the most amazing iPhone yet.
Codwell France, the LIME iPhone expert, who was on hand to show off and explain the many features of the masterful device commented on the response of the several customers who wanted to experience this phone first hand.
“This phone is generating a huge amount of excitement. I would not be surprised with the take up as many of our customers seem to be so knowledgeable about its many features,” he said. Before the day was ended, two customers had purchased the iPhone 4S.
Meanwhile, LIME’s General Manager, David Lake was also on hand fielding questions from customers who shared in this historic moment. “We were first to market with the exclusive introduction of the iPhone 4 last summer and promised to continue delivering the most advanced technologies. Today we are back in fulfillment of that promise. Our customers in St. Kitts & Nevis have the same opportunity as do customers worldwide to purchase the amazing iPhone 4S today,” he asserted.
In an email addressed to LIME’s Corporate Communications Manager, Laverne Caines, a customer wrote, “Congratulations on getting the iPhone 4S to the SKN market. I am an IPhone 4S user myself, and I am sure the SKN public will be equally impressed with the product.”
Another customer who was the first to purchase the phone on Friday said, “I was determined to be the first person to purchase this phone. I would not have allowed this day to pass. I love my LIME.”
Over the course of the morning the General Manager made presentations of the iPhone 4S to the Prime Minister, Rt Hon Dr Denzil Douglas and Minister of Telecommunications, Hon Glen Phillip. They were both excited to be presented with this gift and thanked LIME for the kind gesture.
