~~Adz:Left~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -  PREPARATIONS are undergoing for the Ninth FINCO Primary School Drama Festival scheduled for May 21-29, where the Basseterre, East and West Zones will compete against each other.

According to the Festival’s Coordinator, Moses Byron, there would be six schools in each of the three Zones dramatising on social issues.

Byron said that the Basseterre Zone competition would be held at the Old Girls School while the East Zone will be at Cayon Primary School and the West Zone at Newton Ground Primary School.

He stated that the students would be portraying positive messages on issues currently affecting the community.  This, he added, would be done within a 20-minute time frame and the presenters would be assessed by three judges.

Tucker Clarke Primary School is the defending champion, after winning last year on the topic “Who to Blame”.
