Basseterre, St. Kitts - The TDC Group of Companies has recognized the winners of the 2008 Green Valley Community Festival Queen Pageant, Senior and Junior Monarch Competitions, respectively for their outstanding performances.
The monarchs received an assortment of prizes (valued at over fifteen hundred dollars) as part of their winnings, which was officially handed over to Mr. Clifford Griffin, the Chairperson of the Green Valley Festival Sponsorship Committee.
Mr. Iston Williams, the Sales and Stores Manager at the TDC Home and Building Depot made the presentation and spoke of the Company’s involvement with the Annual Cultural extravaganza.
“The TDC Group of Companies and by extension the Home and Building Depot are pleased to present these gifts to you as part of our commitment to this year’s event. We have been supporting this activity for many years and our contribution represents our pledge to further advance Cultural and Social awareness in Cayon, and the surrounding villages,” stated Williams.
In accepting the Corporate donation, Mr. Griffin, thanked the local firm and expressed his pleasure in having the local firm’s assistance for the festivities. ~~Adz:Right~~
“The Green Valley Festival Committee is once again extremely pleased to receive TDC’s support. Your donation speaks to the tremendous support for our series of activities that has become an integral part of our Community,” remarked Griffin.
Several other Rural Groups have also continue to benefit from TDC’s endorsement, such as the Crab Hill Sports Club (Easter-Rama), Festival de Capisterre, Fig Tree Fest, and the Saddle Fest, to name a few.
