Digicel condemns false survey as “unethical”

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts: Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis has received numerous complaints from our Valued Customers regarding a telephone survey which is currently being conducted to mobile subscribers.

The methodology of the survey is for a customer to receive an unsolicited call on their mobile from a company which identifies itself as “IPSOS” which purports to be carrying out this survey on behalf of all wireless companies including Digicel.  

This is to advise our Valued Customers that Digicel has not commissioned any joint surveys with other wireless providers.  We strongly recommend that if you are contacted about information regarding your account with Digicel; please do not divulge any information.

Digicel denounces these unethical practices by the company who has commissioned this survey, as it is a means of obtaining customer sensitive information under false and misleading pretence.
