St. John’s, Antigua January 19th, 2012  – Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) and one of its longstanding partners, Anjo Wholesale has embarked on another project. This time around the initiative is geared towards kids and activities for them to do while waiting for appointments – And while doing that educating them on proper oral hygiene.

On Wednesday the hospital received its first delivery of over one hundred (100) copies of the Colgate Activity Book for kids plus over one hundred (100) packs of Colgate and Colgate toothbrushes. These books will be available for kids to use in waiting rooms throughout the hospital. Personal packs containing a toothbrush and miniature toothpaste will also be given out at the various Pediatric clinics.

Said Rolston Roberts, Assistant Manager at Anjo Wholesale:

“We’re always happy to lend a hand especially when it comes to children and babies – And the hospital makes it easy for us to give because we’re helping people who need it.”

Salma Crump, Head of Marketing & Communications at MSJMC said; “We need to find a new way of saying thank you to Anjo. When I look back they’ve been supporting the hospital on a consistent basis since 2009 when we first opened. This particular initiative is something we’ve discussed in the past and now we’re finally able to make it a reality.

For now our focus is both the Outpatient Clinic and the Emergency Waiting Rooms. However we’re hoping that we can expand it to other areas. I know this is something that will bring some sort of peace-of-mind to both the kids and the parents (in more ways than one) who are with them.”
