LIME Christmas Promotion ends, Lifetime prizes begin

LIME lifetime winners
By: LIME, Press Release

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts,  January 31st, 2012 -- Prizes of free LIME services were distributed to the last nine customers to complete the slate of 21 winners in the company’s Christmas of a Lifetime promotion.

Included in this group of customers was the winner of the full suite of services Dwight and Sharalee Kelly.  The joint account holders won a lifetime of fixed line, internet and mobile services having met one of the entry requirements by paying on time.

Accepting for the Kellys, Mr Kelly said it was a pleasant surprise to receive the news of his prize.  Although not fully aware of the promotion, he said as a shareholder of the company he was happy to have benefitted from the promotion in this significant way.

“As a proud shareholder of the company I think I am most deserving of this prize,” he mused.  “I guess I would begin to feel the impact of the prize as time goes by, but the thought of not having to pay a telecoms bill for the next 4 decades does take away one less stress of life,” he concluded.

A 19 year old college student, Nikoya Maynard, also received a lifetime gift of free mobile services, for having topped up her phone over the promotion period.  The shy second year student said the prize would bring immense relief to her not having to worry about mobile expenses for a long time to come.

“On average I top up my phone about $20 per week so that’s a saving I can use otherwise, thanks to LIME,” said the Office Administration major of the CFB College.

Three other mobile Lifetime prizes and a lifetime internet were awarded to Niyoka Browne, Morley Norford, Livingston Carey and Sylvester Thomas respectively.  Not a stranger to winning Ms Browne told how she was instrumental in her father’s winning a motor vehicle about 5 years ago. “I guess I am just blessed,” she said as she accepted the giant cheque from LIME’s Deanne Arthurton.

Across the waters in Nevis three customers were also on the receiving end of the news that there telecomms service would be bill free for the next forty years.  Frederick Parris, Anvil Sawh and Shermel Cranstoun all qualified for winning after they topped up their mobile phones.

LIME’s Marketing Manager, Darien Belle has observed that the Christmas promotion was well-received.  “Presenting the prizes to the winners at their place of work or residence piqued the curiosity of many persons and injected an element of surprise into the promotion.

Overall many customers felt that the promotion was a good one given the current economic challenges,” he concluded.
