CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - THE Nevis HIV/AIDS Coordinating Unit will be hosting an art competition and interested persons between ages 12 and 24 years are invited to participate.
Prevention and Education Officer Nadine Caines made the announcement and informed that the invitation was extended only to residents on Nevis.
“The art design must have the HIV symbol and can highlight any aspect of HIV/AIDS such as Prevention, Protection, Care and Support, Stigma and Discrimination, and must be sensitive to the cause,” she said.
Caines said the design must have an original piece with a title and must be submitted in full-colour on a eight and a half by 11 sheet of paper or by email to the HIV/AIDS Coordinating Unit on or before June 9.
She declared that the winning entry would be displayed on the south wall at Grove Park.
Caines also declared that the winner would be showered with prizes and announced publicly on the airwaves and in the newspapers. Caines further pointed out that the competition was an individual event. ~~Adz:Right~~
