Percival Hanley – Manager City Drug Store 2005 Ltd/TDC Business Equipment, Grace Challenger-Bird – Executive Director of St. Christopher Heritage Society & Director of National Museum and Marcia Osborne Administrative Assistant at TDC Business Equipment/City Drug Store 2005 Ltd.

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE St. Christopher Heritage Society (S.C.H.S) was the recipient of a donation made by City Drug Store (2005) Ltd and TDC Business Equipment of a Canon Pixma MX300 Copier-Scanner-Printer-Fax Machine. The multi-purpose piece of office equipment is to be used by the staff at the National Museum.

The handing over ceremony took place at the National Museum located in the old Treasury Building, Bay Road, Basseterre. Percival Hanley, manager of City Drug Store 2005 Ltd and TDC Business Equipment Centre revealed that the donation was in direct response to a request made by the S.C.H.S for a printer.

Hanley said the decision to make a donation of a multi-function machine held two-fold benefit, in that the machine would save office space while at the same time performing many of the necessary office functions.

Grace Challenger-Bird, Executive Director of the SCHS and National Museum expressed gratitude upon receipt of such an efficient and modern piece of office equipment. Challenger-Bird enquired about ease of operation but was re-assured by Hanley that the Technicians would be available to install and instruct staff on the proper use and care of the machine.

Challenger-Bird indicated that the timely and much-needed donation would serve the National Museum and the S.C.H.S well as they were in the process of preparing an exhibition to commemorate the Federation’s 25th Anniversary of National Independence.
