    Traffic Warden sent to the hospital after Sandy Point accident

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS - A Traffic warden was transported to Pogson Hospital in Sandy Point  around 8:20 this morning (May 26th) when she was struck down by a vehicle in front of the Sandy Point Primary School.

     

    According to unconfirmed reports Claudette Francis of Old Road was struck while carrying out her normal duties when an oncoming vehicle failed to come to a complete stop at the intersection.

     

    It was reported that while the woman did not sustain any life threatening injuries, she was transported to the local hospital for examination.

     

    In speaking with a Constable at the Sandy Point Police Station, SKNVibes.com learned that the investigator who worked the accident scene is currently at the hospital questioning the injured woman. ~~Adz:Right~~

     

    One person, the driver of the vehicle involved, is allegedly being held for questioning in relation to the accident.

     

    Investigations into the incident are ongoing and SKNVibes.com will release more information as it becomes available.
