    Autopsy results of most recent murder victims

    ~~Adz:Left~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - AUTOPSIES performed on the most recent murder victims revealed that they died as a result of gunshot wounds to the head and shock and haemorrhage respectively.

     

    According to a police press release, Barbadian Forensic Pathologist Dr. Stephen Jones performed an autopsy on the remains of 25-year-old Chesil Fraites and reported that death was due to “gunshot wounds to the head”. 

     

    Fraites was shot on the night of May 19, 2008 sometime after 9:00 while seated on a bench just outside his Conaree home.

     

    An autopsy was also performed on Eston Sharry, the Federation’s 10th murder victim.  According to a police press release, Dr. Jones performed the autopsy on Friday, May 23 and reported that the 23-year-old man died as a result of “gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen with haemorrhage and shock”.

     

    During the evening of Thursday, May 22, 2008, Sharry was shot while walking along the Phillips’ Road en route to his home. The police were summoned to the scene and they began their investigations.

     

    SKNVibes understands that, to date, no one has been held accountable for either of the incidents but the police have indicated investigations into the matters are ongoing.

     

    “The Police are appealing to persons with information to call the Criminal Investigation Department at 465-2241 ext. 236, 220 or 230, or the crime hotline at 707. Information received will be treated with strict confidence,” the release reads.
